Biomedical/Mechanical Engineer

Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical/Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced medical devices and technologies. This role will involve designing, testing, and refining complex electro-mechanical systems and biomedical devices. The ideal candidate will be an innovative problem-solver with a strong background in both biomedical and mechanical engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop biomedical devices and mechanical systems from concept through to production.
- Conduct simulations, prototyping, and testing to ensure functionality, safety, and performance of devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing, to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate designs and troubleshoot issues during development.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in biomedical or mechanical engineering, preferably within a biotech or medical device environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials science, and biomedical device regulations.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience with prototyping, testing methodologies, and design verification.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with FDA regulations and ISO standards is a plus.
